I noticed that if you fill the box on your post it jumps to the top of the page and then to the new line that you are on and back with each letter instead of staying on the new line. You can use the arrows to see all of the post since it readjusts to the top of the page once you stop typing. Is thier a setting problem on my end or is it just a glitch?

I know the simple answer is dont fill the box...

If I understand you correctly, there may be a work-around. With some browsers, there are a couple of small diagonal lines in the lower right of the box. You can drag these to make the box bigger. Dragging down is best; if you drag them too far to the right it might make part of the box hidden.

I haven't seen this happen, but it could be a combination of your computer speed, screen size/resolution and ease of handling javascript (which is used extensively on this site). Some combinations of browsers and operating systems are problematic. What are you using? and what is your screen resolution?

This was also driving me crazy, quit talking or watch jumping, what to do? then I noticed at the upper right where you are typing is a little word, Size +-. Click on the + sign a few times and watch the typing box get bigger! Problem solved!
