In Fort Myers until the 30th of this month.  Have a couple of single line kites and my KAP rig but not much wind since we arrived.

Yeah, the wind has been a little ellusive lately, but I was able to get in a little flying time this afternoon at Estero Community Park. Please let me know if you would like to fly while you're here. I have two dual line kites.

Hi David,

This might be a bit of a haul for you, but there is a kite club over in Treasure Island (Tampa/St Pete). The beaches up that way are huge, and its the home of the Treasure Island Kite Festival in January.

Well, Florida is a funny state! I am in the panhandle, which I consider southwest!(grin)
We have great afternoon wind here at Panama City Beach. I have been flying Glory Days (top prize at the Smithsonian back in the '80's), Art Gecko (1st rokaku at the Smithsonian in the '80's), my Adrian Conn Stingray and several smaller kites.
There are other kites here, but all store bought and the occasional kite surfer.
I would like to get together and fly with others in this area.
