I believe that my dear departed Peter Lake was the first member of the AK9A. He's buried in the backyard now, and his personal banner has been retired, but his successor, Sam Baker, is carrying on the Kite Dog legacy.

I thought of Sam the other day and wondered how he was doing.  Glad to hear he is bearing the standard well.

Just "Baker" to his friends. His first name only gets used when he's in trouble (which seems to be often, come to think of it).

Dr Gayle has had several of her Children registered over the years. Pee Wee and Soldier come to mind.

I think they even voted for her when she was RD.
