Always hate to see somebody crash, but this was a case of an extreme sport being carried out under proper circumstances. He knew the risks and volunteered. He didn't endanger the general public, or force uninvolved bystanders to be part of the sport or be witnesses.

I post this, because I posted a highly critical comment on another kiter's event. I'm not against extreme sports. I actually like flying hard-pulling kites; I've snapped a 500# Kevlar(TM) flying line. Just urging people to stay aware of how the inevitable accident will affect other kiters.
