Re: Log In error
And another query - I'd like to post my Committee Report in AKA Reports but it says the topic / thread is currently empty.
How do I START a thread there? - or am I not meant to be in that section anyway?
Sheesh - do I feel a dummy!

Re: Log In error
Board reads a cookie stored on your system to know who you are but it's security features are seperate. IMHO, poor programming.
I think I now see the error you are pointing out... choice to logout but it states you are not logged in. Above still applies. I've seen a lot of forum software. Never seen this one. Perhaps for a reason.

Re: Log In error
I've asked webmaster for help - even though it's no bother. Once I'm IN, I'm in... but it just tells me I got the password wrong. Mind you, anything's possible... blonde, and all...

Post your report in the board room. then it will become part of the meeting minutes. After the meeting, the webmaster etc can pull all together and do as one.

Re: Log In error
This can occur if you are logged in, and attempt to connect to (another) account using an incorrect password. The cookies that remember settings on your machine last a while, and once mis-set, take a while to expire (hours). When this has happened to me, I switch to another browser for an hour or so to wait for the cookie to expire. You can also use your browser's 'clear cookies' operation, but that will clear evewrything.

Re: Log In error
Thanks John. I think it worked, because today I went straight in, no problem! I've no idea HOW the original goof must've happened, but then, there's a lot I don't know in this world, and computer language is one of them...
I'm not giving up though. Can't lose me THAT easily!
