Re: Pakistan Cracking Down On Kite Vendors
I understand where the Prime Minister is coming from. This type of neglect has to stop people are being killed and and cut up because of extreme measures used when flying fighters. Our association needs to keep safety on the front burner and keep a keen eye on windsurfers and traction kites. Good thing Baseball is Americas number one pastime because if it was flying fighters we would be in the same boat.

Re: Pakistan Cracking Down On Kite Vendors
The District Coordination Officer (DCO) Naseem Sadiq said "Kite-flying is now a fatal activity"... ?Now?
Not just in Pakistan - falling off roofs in India, running into traffic to catch a downed-kite, getting caught in severe winds while kite-surfing, not to mention kites that carried bombs during World Wars. Driving a car or crossing the street can have a similar effect, with the lowest common denominator being common sense.
Have fun, but play safe.

Safety is what we are all about and working hard to keep the awareness level in the forfront. Wristbands on our flying fields can be a good thing.
