Welcome and thanks for sharing! You are absolutely right, the price and complexity of a kite has nothing to do with the joy it brings. Keep flying and building.

Everyone should watch this video! It is very inspiring. I have subscribed to your YouTube channel to watch all the other videos you have. They make my channel with all its store-bought kites look boring, and I am going to have to spend the winter months here in New Zealand trying to make some of my own kites to follow your example.
