[Muncie] Begins at 9am until late afternoon. Join in the fun of showing the Boy Scouts how to really earn a merit badge! The Scouts will be conducting the workshop while the kiters give them a show of what today’s kiting involves.

[Fridley] This worldwide day of kite flying is being observed by the Minnesota Kite Society one week later than normal due to the organizer being away at the AKA convention.
Participants can fly kites of any size or shape. Information on kites and kite flying will be provided. |

[Sheboygan] The Aviaition Heritage Center of Sheboygan COunty is launching it’s grand opening event with an AKA Kite Build & Fly. Fall festivities include pumpkin decorating, face painting, food, live music and hay wagon rides on the taxiways and runways of the airport. A costune contest with prizes tops off the day.
