ODTP 2008 (VA)
[Richmond] Yessirreee, it's the 1st annual Old Dominion Tricks Party & Hootenanny! ODTP is a cooperative effort between the organizers of the Old Dominion Sport Kite Championships and Tricks Party USA. The plan is simple: Apply the same southern hospitality and "by the fliers, for the fliers" mentality of ODSKC to a full 3-round, "true" Tricks Party event. ODTP is a great opportunity for those folks that are looking to try out this exciting new sport kite competition format! There will be 3 rounds of individual competition and 2 rounds of pairs competition with both imposed tricks and ballet competition.Saturday night, we'll host a good ol' southern cookout at the Murray home with some redneck cuisine (also known as BBQ); shoot, there might even be some hay-rides! Dinner's free (although we will accept donations), so y'all make plans to hang with us Saturday night and bring your banjo!

[San Marino] The Huntington Library is dedicating a new hall on the grounds of the Library. Due to the "Science" nature of the event, they invited the VCKF to "Strut our Stuff". Kites of all shapes & sizes will be flown and available for examination. Lots of other great scientific exhibits and groups like JPL will also be on hand.
