The American Kitefliers Association web site is designed to provide information and details on AKA programs and policies. Additional information is available by contacting the national offices of The American Kitefliers Association.

The AKA is a nonprofit educational corporation. This web site is, therefore, designed to be noncommercial in nature. Some news of broad interest to the kite community may be provided by for-profit entities. This information is not intended as an endorsement of those businesses, and instead is listed as a service to readers.

You may print pages from the AKA web site at no charge for your personal use only. However, you may not modify them in any way.

Educational Use

Teachers and educational institutions may print and distribute pages from the AKA web site at no charge for use by their students. However, you may not modify them in any way. The copyright notice and the URL for the document being distributed must appear on each.

Commercial Use

If any of the materials from this website are to be used in any manner for commercial purposes (that is, if any profit is connected to the use of the materials in any way, if any fee is charged, or if providing such materials enhances your commercial interests), then you must first have received explicit written permission.

Privacy

The AKA respects your privacy and we want you to understand the ways in which we use and do not use information that you transmit when you visit our web site. The AKA automatically collects limited information about your computers connection to the Internet when you visit our site and we use such information for internal review in aggregate form. This tracking information is routinely gathered as visitors navigate through our site.

E-mail addresses and other personally identifying data about visitors to this site are known to the AKA only when voluntarily submitted or posted to us. The AKA uses this data voluntarily submitted by visitors to contact visitors who communicate with us.
