Featuring the Giant Kites of Yves LaForest. This is a fun fly and all are welcome to participate. Our goal is to fill the sky with as many kites as possible. Times from 11:00 am until 6:30 PM, then 7:30 PM until the fireworks start at 9:25 pm. We have set aside a huge area of Veterans Park just for kitefliers. So fly a kite and get the best seats in the house for the greatest firworks show on Earth. Well...in my opinion, of course. Now understand that traffic and parking are a real mess for this event, so come early and don't plan on leaving until after the fireworks are finished at 10:15pm. In other words, plan your whole day in the park. It’s a blast...literally!!
