This unique event combines the centuries old pastime of kite flying- its art, color and tradition- with today’s high tech designs, fabrics and flying acrobatics that can be enjoyed by the entire family. As kites reach into the skies, Middlesex Hospital reaches into the community: into homes, schools, industry, community agencies, libraries, even the arts. The SoundWinds Kite Festival is an opportunity to celebrate this partnership with the communities served by Middlesex Hospital. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Hospital’s new Cancer Center and community outreach programs.

Admission is free, however donations are appreciated. Parking is charged at the State Park rate of $5.00 for in-state and $8.00 for out-of-state vehicles.
