The KITESTRINGS KITE FESTIVAL FOR THE ARTS is a full day event, a gathering of kite enthusiasts and artists. There will be kite-making workshops, a show of kites created by a select number of recognized local artists, LARGE kites from around the world, an evening social event featuring music by The Blue Darts, an auction of the featured kite creations to benefit the arts in the Sisters Community, dancing, libations and marvelous edibles. This is a multi-media event to be filmed by Joe Leonardi of Leonardi Media Arts.
