The Swindon International Kite Festival is very laid back, with the emphasis on kite flyers coming along and enjoying themselves, in flying and socialising with other kite people. There are workshops, displays, parachuting teddies ... no competitions, just two large arenas for 2/4 line flying, and one for single line kites, the rest of the park is opened for the public to bring their kites and join in.

The festival site is about 2 miles from Junction 16 -- the festival will be signposted from there. The M4 is the motorway that links London to South Wales.
