Description:
The Earth Day Fly is an annual fun fly. It is put on for MKS members, but the public is welcome. Small kites will be available for kids to fly. Kite flying instruction will be available to novice fliers.

Directions:
From the new Hwy 610 freeway in Brooklyn Park, exit at Zane Avenue and go north. (Zane Avenue jogs to the west to become Douglas Drive). Continue on Douglas Drive to the stoplight at 109th Avenue N. Turn right on 109th Avenue and go east about a quarter mile to the school. The school is located east of Douglas Drive on 109th Avenue N.
Comments:
There is no charge to attend this event. Bring a kite if you have one. Otherwise, kites can be purchased at any local department store or at kite specialty stores in the Twin Cities area.
