Description:
A full day, 8am until 5pm, which includes a club meeting, picnic and kite flying. Fort Mott is one of 3 Forts across the lower Delaware River built in the late 1800’s to defend the city and port of Philadelphia. Self guided walking tours of the fort are available.

Directions:
From Delaware and the south take the first exit off the Delaware Memorial Bridge onto Route 49 East toward Pennsville. Go through Pennsville and make a right onto Fort Mott Road and follow the signs to Fort Mott.

From the north follow the NJ Turnpike or I-295 south to the "last exit before bridge" onto Route 49 east, through Pennsville and turn right onto Fort Mott Road and follow the signs to the Fort.
Comments:
Hotels and restaurants are available at the base of the Delaware Memorial Bridge, Exit #1 of the NJ Turnpike and I-295.
