The Coolum Kite Festival is fast becoming one of the best Kite Festivals in the Southern Hemisphere, now running over 2 full days with night entertainment as well, last year for the first time we had 52 Kite Surfers compete in a down wind event with all of them making it. A different artistic theme is produced side of things are coming together every year as well and inviting Kite flyers from around the world has lefted our profile as an event to visit, we had over the 2 days 50,000 + spectators who came to watch the mass of kites of all sizes, watch our dvd on the web site www.coolumkitefestival.com
