Description:
The Ft Defiance Fun Fly is a chance for visitors to the Plantation to learn about and fly modern kites in a historic 18th Century Plantation setting. There is also an opportunity to fly single, dual and quad line kites.
This is the second year of the fun fly and activities are being added every year.
From Interstate 40 in NC: Travel North on HWY 321 from Hickory (approx. 23 miles). Turn right at HWY 268 (flashing yellow light). After one mile, turn right to continue on HWY 268. Travel 4.5 miles and watch for signs. Fort Defiance will be on the right.
