Description:
Joe Glik Park is 42+ acres with plenty of open flying areas. The "Flying 4 Kids" event wil run from 9 a.m. to noon and is sponsored by the Edwardsville Parks and Recreation department. The event was started in 2005 as part of a state-wide event to raise awareness about a youth license plate, featuring kites. The special plate raises money for youth after-school programming through the park and recreation agencies in the state.
