Featuring performances from Fire and Ice, and Somthing Old, Something new. A highlite of the weekend will be Charlie Sotich and his kite making workshop for the kids of Chicago. The festival will be located in a relatively small flying field, West of the main entrance. Kite flyers will have one nice area to fly during this event. The times are 10:00 am noon until 5:00 pm each day. The gardens were voted as the third best attraction in the Chicagoland area, so plan to spend the entire day flying kites and visiting this beautiful Park. This is our second annual event and we want to make a very good impression. Their is a small parking fee.
