Description:
Two islands in two days! Everyone is invited. Kite Fliers are wanted for all kinds of demonstrations, impromptu instruction and the fun of flying kites with the public. Kites will be sold on Georges Island on Saturday. NPS & DCR Park Rangers will be on-hand to supply the public with kite-making materials, and provide kitemaking instruction. As a kite enthusiast, Island Alliance invites *YOU* to participate in this public-spirited, family-friendly event. Island Alliance can provide a limited number of ferry passes and boxed lunches (first-come, first-serve) to those who want to participate. Please reply to Glenn Davison or Kristen Sherman, ksherman@islandalliance.org by June 22 to participate with a free ferry pass and lunch.
