Description:

This is an annual event sponsored by the Parkman Chamber of Commerce. Spend a day in the country getting back to the basics. For young and young at heart. Pack a picnic lunch or purchase refreshments in the pavilion. Bring your kite or Send-It-Packin'-Plus will be on hand with kites and accessories for sale. Join in the "Sprint Races", "Patriotic Red,White & Blue Fly" and enjoy the demonstrations by OSEK. Join the Snyder Family as they fly "Wind Beneath My Wings" in memory of Bill Snyder who was the inspiration of this festival.

From Cleveland: 480-E to 271-N to 422-E (toward Warren)
From Youngstown: 422-W from Warren. There is a detour at Rt 305 - continue on Rt 422 until you must make a right turn at Hobart Rd, follow Hobart until it dead ends into Farmington Rd. Turn left at Farmington Rd, this will take you back onto Rt. 422 in Parkman.
Parkman is at the intersection of Rt 422 & Rt 88/528. Go North on Rt 528 for 0.2 mi to Rt 168. Take a left and follow Rt 168 for 0.6 mi. Overlook Park is on the right, at the top o
