Description:
The Richmond Air Force kite club is proud to continue the 16-year tradition of the Old Dominion Sport Kite Championship (ODSKC) on June 21 and 22, 2008! ODSKC has always been an event "by the fliers for the fliers" and the 2008 edition will be no different! In order to attract new competitors, ODSKC 2007 will once again offer free registration for any first-time competitors, as well as a free one-year membership in the Eastern League. ODSKC 2008 will feature competition in Novice, Experienced, and Masters precision and ballet events, as well as a combined multiline precision and ballet event and an Open Individual Outdoor Unlimited competition. Team events have also been added to the schedule, which means that ODSKC 2008 will offer all of the Eastern League disciplines. We are also hoping to hold a fighter kite competition and rokkaku battle.

Directions:
From I-64 east of Richmond take exit 195 south onto Laburnum Ave. Follow Laburnum past the Wyndham Hotel for about 3.5 miles to Darbytown Rd. Turn left onto Darbytown Rd. at the light. Follow Darbytown Rd. for 1.4 miles until you get to Dorey Park. Turn right into the park.
Air travelers should use the Richmond International Airport (RIC). Dorey Park is @ 5 miles from RIC.
