An international kite extravaganza will earmark the fourth annual Make-A-Wish Foundation Kites for Wishes 4 2008. Soaring through the skies of the Asan-Bay Overlook in Asan Guam, will be kites from more than 11 countries on March 15-16, 2008. This annual fundraiser for the organization that grants wishes to kids with life threatening illnesses, this event has grown in just four short years. This year’s event will be featuring kite exhibitions, showcasing kite making traditions from the participating countries which include the United States, Canada, Germany and our neighbors in the Pacific, Japan, Korea, Australia, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
