The MS Gulf Coast Kite Fest is fun filled family event all day on the first Saturday in May sponsored by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event is held on the beach at the Long Beach Harbor. Kite Club participants from the region attend and fly kites beachside all day. Many children’s games, water Choo Choo slide, water Obstacle Course, Space Jump and a FREE Kid’s Kitemaking Workshop are on hand. Food, beverages, snowcones, cotton candy are available for purchase. Annual Kite Fest T-shirts will be sold, so be sure to pick up this collector’s item. Admission to the Fest is $1 per person and games are $.50 - $5.00.
