Vibha’s Dallas Action Center organizes - 5th annual kite flying festival - on Saturday May 10, 2008 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Thomas Jefferson park, 1201 Hidden ridge road, Irving, Texas - 75038. This is a free Event.
Vibha is a Sanskrit word that means "inner radiance" or "brightness", especially as seen in children. Vibha is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization working towards the upliftment of underprivileged kids. With Vibha’s mission to "educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of an underprivileged child".
"Bring a kite or Make A kite". Children will have workshops on how to make kites, the art of flying kites and the science behind flying kites.
