Description:
The 2nd Annual Kites for Cancer Awareness event brings Bay Area residents together to fly a kite and raise awareness about cancer. Kite flight takes place on the beautiful and always windy Marina Green in San Francisco from 12noon - 4pm on Saturday October 4th, 2008.
Kites are provided and there is a $25 registration fee. Goodybags to the first 100 registered flyers. Kite decorating, Kite decorating contest, face painting, refreshments and an "In Honor of" kite launch to remember those affected by cancer. A fun family event to be enjoyed by people of all ages!
