Description:

Prairie Wind’s 6th Annual Kite Fly is open and free to the public. Vast open spaces allow ample room for both professional kite fly enthusiasts and new kite flyers alike! Activities for kids, including a scavenger hunt, bol races, glider contests and more, music, concessions, PEBC’s own Kite Dr., kite making, kites for sale, and guest flyers from four states will make for a colorful and entertaining day for kids and grown-ups.

In Jackson, travel north of Interstate 90 on Highway 71. Turn east on 800th Street and the road will take you right past the airport.

Fort Belmont, on the south side of Interstate 90, is having their annual Rendezvous this same weekend. Plan to make a full day of it (or weekend) with kite fly activities and historical fun, as well!
