Description:
The Long Island Maritime Museum's first ever kite festival. Located on the shore of long Island sound the museum grounds make a great location for kiting fun. Come see the big show kites, Fly your own kite or make one in the kite making workshop. Enjoy the Bol races. Food and kite vendors will be on hand. This is a fund riser for the Museum. Come out, have fun, and help out.

Let's fly kites
Directions:
Long Island expressway East bound Exit 59 at S.Oyster Bay Road. South to Lakeland Ave (stay left) Lakeland Ave to Montauk Highway (Main Street). Make right turn and go about one mile to West Ave. Turn left and see Museum sign on right 1/4 down road. The Museum is next to a Golf course.
