Our first kite day meeting is next Monday, Jan. 10th at the nature center@ 6:30 p.m. Since this is the 10th anniversary, we hope for some great ideas. Come if you can. You can post the festival on the AKA calendar if you want to, I usually have done it, but this year, you can! As far as getting AKA sanctioning this year, we aren't sure, as the budget is tighter, and we don't really get any kiters from anywhere else. However, this year, we are having a special time for adult kiters to fly their kites (no trophies, just for fun) before the competitions begin. Let me know if you want to come to our meeting or help Dudley out with the kite building classes.
