Event originates at Valley View Elementary School play fields and overflows to Valley View Middle School play fields next door.
The City of Bloomington is hosting the 2013 Kite Day celebration. Kite flyers of all ages are invited to this fun filled day. Event includes live entertainment, food, and a festive atmosphere. Bring your own kite or receive a free one at the event. Prizes will be awarded. Free kites for ages 18 and under (while supplies last). Free admission!

From I-494 in Bloomington, exit at Portland Avenue South. Go south on Portland Avenue about 1-1/2 miles to East 90th Street. Turn right and go west to 3rd Avenue South. Turn right and go north. Park on the street or in the school’s parking lots.
