Description:

The Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center sponsors this non-competitive kiting event each year to show families the joy of kiting and ushering out the winter and the beginning of spring. All kiters are invited to show off their skills and kites. There are usually between 500 and 1000 families at the event. There will be kids activities and if you would like to help with kite making, please let Dennis Peterson know.
